Adding a Patient to an Incident


1. To add a patient to an incident, click the "Patients" tab within the incidents screen.



2. Click the "+ Add" Button to reveal the add patient popup window 



3. Complete the details in the patient popup window



4. Once the details have been entered, press the "+ Add Patient" button to add the patient


5. Further patient details can be entered from the patients screen. Any data previously entered will show here. Some fields allow free text answers, whilst others require a response to be selected from a drop down list.




6. To expand the summary field in order to enter more information, Press the "Summary" button to the left of the summary field. This will then display a popup where more information can be entered.



7. Further patient information such as observations and treatments can be entered by selecting the relevant individual tabs.




Patient Data


Patient data can be added under the following subcategories:


  • Complaints:
    • Injuries and Medical Complaints
  • Observations:
    • Standard Clinical Observations
    • Airway Status
    • GCS
    • ECG Rhythm
  • Treatments:
    • Intubations
    • Clinical Interventions (Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Exposure, Packaging, Critical Care)
    • Drug Therapy
    • Blood Products
  • Cardiac Arrest Data
    • Cardiac Arrest data as per the Utstein Template for Cardiac Arrest
  • Attachments
    • Ability to upload photographs or scanned documents to the clinical record
  • Review Flags
    • Add a flag to a patient to highlight it for future review as part of your organisations Clinical Governance System
